Went back for carry out tonight. Exact same items. I'm sorry I didn't go out on a limb and try something new, but it is just too good to pass up your favorite items:
Mr. Bacon Burger medium rare!
Patty Melt medium rare! (This one might not be on the menu, but they do serve it!)
Onion rings and fries!
The onion rings might be 4 star, but I'm feeling good tonight, they had a nice tempura batter and only one in the bunch was overcooked.
The fries have been upgraded with some improved spices. Everything was fast, perfect and reasonably priced. What more can you ask for! -

My husband had a turkey burger and fries for lunch that was so good! He kept asking if it was really a turkey burger because it was juicy & flavorful. He had me & my daughter try it out for an early dinner. I had the plain Jane without cheese or onions with fries & my daughter had the BLT. The burger was seasoned well and so good that I ate the whole thing. The bun was seared and yummy. The fries were fresh potatoes fried & seasoned wonderfully. The BLT was on toasted Texas toast. The bacon was crisp & cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the food, but the young lady behind the counter made the experience better by being pleasant & knowledgeable. We've found a gem in what I believe used to be Donuts by George.

Great burger and the price is right! Everything tastes fresh and incredible. Super crispy tots and well seasoned. Will definitely be back!

I am surprised I haven't posted a review of Don Burger before.
Don Burger is new to the area. It has moved into what was once a bakery, or so I am told. It is spacious and can handle a fairly large crowd.
The first thing you'll notice is the friendly customer service. I've been back several times and no matter who is working the register, they are patient, friendly, and easy on the eyes. You'll see the burgers being made a little to the right of the register. The beef is fresh and plenty of it. I have tried several variations and each one has been a darn good burger. It is the kind of burger you'd expect from a good backyard grill master. Bite into one and you'll see what I mean.
There are other things on the menu but it is the burger I go there for. Maybe some day I'll try the chicken ... I like chicken ... but I love burgers.
You have to be watching for it. It is basically on a curve so it is easy to drive by. They have a nice big sign now so if you're looking west you should see it.
I am so pleased I have a go-to burger joint in my neighborhood. I don't eat greasy fries and burgers all the time. On the occasions I want good ol' American grease, Don will do me right.
PS I got onion rings this time along with my fresh cut fries. I love them. These aren't the big heavily battered type, but they aren't the scrawny tough type either. They are somewhere in between. Cooked through, a bit on the crunchy side, and flavorful.
Recommendation - just to see what the hubbub is about, try the Don Burger. The one in the picture is the bacon burger. -

This is my type of burger joint! Older place, not fancy and mismatched chairs. I knew I was in for treat when I entered this place. There were four of us and we had never eaten here. I was in the area and pulled up yelp and found this place. It was also pretty busy at lunch time. Prices are on par with McDonalds food, maybe less since I don't go there. But the food is nowhere close to the subpar quality of McDonalds food. We were greeted by a friendly cashier who took our order. We had came at a time where quite a few people had ordered before us. We got our number, filled our drinks and found a table. The restaurant was clean and employees were working hard to get the food out. We received our food quite quick for the number of people in the restaurant. Order was perfect, no mistakes at all from our "custom requests". Food was very hot so we had to wait for it to cool off. My son had the plain Jane and said it was delicious. My other son had a kids jr burger and thought it was great. My other son had the kids chicken tenders. He said they tasted like fish but said they were good I had the Mr Bacon burger and it was delicious. Lots of crisp bacon, nice thick burger cooked to perfection. Perfect amount of condiments and nice flavor. Juicy but not greasy at all. We loved the fries and they were enjoyed by all of us. We will definitely be back!
